Prioritize an Empathetic and Critical Perspective<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Teach your children to think critically and empathetically when reading about the conflict between Israel and Palestine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because, to this day, two camps have formed in various media outlets: some defend Palestine, while others defend Israel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let your children know that not all information from various media sources can be trusted. So there\u2019s no need to use complex political terminology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other hand, older children are ready to receive more complex and political information. So don\u2019t hesitate to provide them with that understanding.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"3-ceritakan-sejarah-negara-palestina\">3. Tell the History of the State of Palestine<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s not uncommon for children, when reading about Palestine in Western media, to see the country portrayed as a hotbed of crime and rebellion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In reality, they are simply fighting to liberate their own people from Israeli occupation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To help children understand this perspective, it\u2019s important to teach them about the history of the occupation that Palestine has endured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Use the analogy of when the Dutch colonized Indonesia, so your children can understand why Palestinians chose to fight by taking up arms.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"4-hubungan-dengan-ajaran-islam\">4. Relationship with Islamic Teachings<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Incorporate Islamic values when educating children about the Palestinian issue. Emphasize how Islam supports a people\u2019s right to freedom from oppression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also provide appropriate evidence to support this. For example, the hadith narrated in Sahih al-Bukhari 4347, which states:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Beware of the prayers of the oppressed, for there is no barrier between them and Allah.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"5-ajari-anak-berdonasi-dengan-tepat\">5. Teach Your Child How to Donate Wisely<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Next, encourage your child to donate as well. Parents can lead by example first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Later on, you can encourage your child to donate using their own allowance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even if the amount is small, this action is crucial for teaching children to do good directly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, parents must also provide guidance on donating to the right organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because in situations like this, there are many unscrupulous individuals who exploit the tragedy in Palestine for their own gain.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"6-ajak-anak-berdoa\">6.
